Taking on a travel RN role on the MedSurg/Tele unit here offers direct exposure to a broad spectrum of patient conditions from cardiac and neuro to fast-paced observation cases. With 24 beds and a robust support staff including CNAs, phlebotomy, IV/vascular teams, respiratory therapists, and an on-site hospitalist during the day, youll join a collaborative environment that values teamwork and patient-centered care. Workflow is dynamic, with occasional floating between nearby partner facilities, rewarding adaptability and resourcefulness while you expand your skillset.
This assignment builds both clinical depth and professional versatility, working alongside experienced nurse leaders and exploring multiple workplace systemsan irreplaceable asset on any resume.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license with a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- At least 6 months hands-on EMR (EPIC) experience
- Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips, wound care, IV starts, and general Med/Surg patient management
- Willingness to float within the region, as needed

- Managing a 1:5-6 RN-to-patient ratio
- Communicating effectively with an energetic, multidisciplinary team
- Adapting to both day (0645-1915) and night (1845-0715) shifts
