Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts: 0645-1915 & 1845-0715
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • 6-week scheduling cycles
  • Holiday commitment: 75% of holidays

Qualifications

  • Active RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 18 months recent Med/Tele RN experience
  • Comfortable with cardiac rhythm interpretation and basic MedSurg procedures: wound care, IV starts, blood products
  • At least 6 months EPIC EMR experience
  • Willingness to float within the region (paid travel time during floating)
  • Open to first-time travelers

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with a variety of acute medical conditions
  • Comfortably manage a daily ratio of 1:5-6 (potential surge up to 1:7-8)
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Support departmental needs including observation, care of tubes/drains, wound care
