Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active RN license (NC or compact)
• At least 18 months of recent RN experience with a MedSurg/Tele focus
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• At least 6 months hands-on EPIC EMR experience
• Strong Med/Tele skillset: proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone), IV skills, wound care, and blood products
• Will train first-time travelers who meet requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic, patient-centered care for diverse diagnoses
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage complex medical/surgical patient needs
• Function effectively in a fast-paced, observation-driven setting
• Collaborate with CNAs, phlebotomists, IV/vascular access, respiratory therapy, and providers
• Float within the regional system as needed (travel time paid when floating mid-shift)
• Document care using EPIC EMR
