This 13-week night shift opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding environment for Registered Nurses with orthopedic experience who want to make a difference in patient lives.

Position Details
- Schedule: Nights, 19000730
- Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 per week (flexible, indicated upon application)
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend
- 13-week contract assignment
- No call requirements
- Assigned to a 30-bed orthopedic unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive orthopedic nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and ancillary departments
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional accountability
- Assist with patient mobility including lifting and turning with assistance
- Provide care consistent with regulatory standards and facility values
Qualifications
- Current RN license meeting Missouri standards
- Minimum 2 years orthopedic inpatient experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Ability to work physically demanding shifts, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong teamwork, dependability, and flexibility
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required between November 1April 1
- Dress code: black scrubs only
- Night shift orientation scheduled during the day shift prior to assignment start
