Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (unrestricted)
- Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing (Med-Surg)
- BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication and critical thinking abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to individuals with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs and respond promptly to changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, and health management
- Document interventions and patient responses in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Support safe discharge planning and transitions of care
- Uphold patient rights and facility policies, promoting a positive environment
