This 16-week travel opportunity in a dynamic Medical/Surgical unit, specializing in Colorectal and Bariatrics, is ideal for Registered Nurses seeking both professional advancement and adventure. Working alongside expert colleagues exposes you to innovative workplace practices, EPIC charting, and collaborative patient care strategies, all while broadening your experience in acute med/surg and tele settings. Schedule/Hours:
- NIGHTS 12 hours (7P-7A) or rotating (7A-7P)
- 36 hours per week
- No back-to-back shift types within the same week
- 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work at least 1 holiday per contract
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg or telemetry (2 years preferred)
- If non-U.S. candidate: 2 years of U.S. work experience required
- Active NY RN License
- AHA BLS certification
- Flexibility to accommodate varying facility needs
- Must reside over 50 miles from Fairport, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care on a medical/surgical unit
- Utilize EPIC for thorough and efficient charting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Support patients through pre- and post-operative colorectal and bariatric care
- Adapt to evolving patient acuities and fast-paced clinical environments
