Job Description
Providing expert nursing care within a cardiac medical/telemetry unit requires a blend of clinical skill, flexibility, and dedication. This opportunity is to serve in a 43-bed cardiac med/tele unit with day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. The schedule includes 36 to 48 hours per week with a rotation of one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must also be prepared to work at least one holiday during the contract period. Note that block scheduling is not permitted.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 year recent acute med-surg or telemetry experience
- Preferred 2 years recent acute med-surg or telemetry experience
- For non-U.S. candidates, at least 2 years of U.S. work experience required
- Active New York RN license
- Current NIH/AHA BLS certification
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver direct patient care in a cardiac medical/telemetry setting
- Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and documentation
- Float to other units as required by facility needs
- Be prepared to assume charge nurse responsibilities with provided training
- Adhere to all scheduling requirements, including weekend and holiday shifts
Contract Details
- Duration ranges from a minimum of 22 weeks to a maximum of 26 weeks
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with no block scheduling permitted
