Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment, starting 5/18
- 36 hours guaranteed weekly (option for 48 upon request)
- Night shifts: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends: Three out of every six-week schedule
- Holiday coverage: Every other holiday
Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted compact Registered Nurse license required
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications attached at submission
- Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac/Telemetry experience, including trauma level II exposure
- Previous travel assignment completed
- Proficiency with EPIC documentation and readiness for charting checkoff
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac monitoring (tele/12-lead EKG), drip initiation/titration, and management of high-acuity Med/Surg & Tele patients
- Excellent assessment ability, adaptability, and team collaboration
- Resilient, strong work ethic, and open to change
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing to high-acuity cardiac and renal medical-surgical patients (Afib, CHF, COPD, post-ablation, dialysis, etc.)
- Float within the main and sister campuses as needed, with advance notice
- Participate in teaching and possible preceptorship roles for students/new hires
- Maintain accurate charting and collaborate with a longstanding, experienced team
- Uphold high-quality patient care standards and adapt to evolving unit needs
