This travel nursing role offers a unique chance to work in a high-acuity Cardiac Renal MS/Tele unit, ensuring exposure to leading-edge practices and seasoned leadership approaches. Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract position
• 12-hour nights (6:30 PM7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (option for 48 per request)
• Three weekends per six-week schedule; every other holiday
• Primary location with potential float to nearby campuses (with advance notice)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered compact RN license
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent Cardiac/Tele experience
• At least one travel assignment and Level II trauma background
• Recent EPIC charting experience (EPIC checkoff required)
• Remarkable critical thinking, assessment, and adaptability skills
• Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation; strong respiratory/cardiac drip management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert care to high-acuity Tele/M/S, primarily cardiac-focused patients
• Interpret and respond to complex EKG rhythms and titrate antiarrhythmic/anticoagulant drips
• Manage interventions such as PIV insertion and nephrostomy tubes
• Support the clinical learning environment as preceptor when required
