Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license (unencumbered)
  • Minimum of 1 year recent Medical-Surgical (MS) experience
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Excellent assessment, documentation, and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and EHR systems
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on the medical-surgical unit
  • Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on post-hospital care, procedures, and diagnoses
  • Accurately document all aspects of care in the electronic medical record
  • Support a positive, safe, and patient-centered environment
