This travel nursing assignment is an exceptional opportunity to elevate your professional profile through hands-on exposure to advanced stroke and neuro care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Schedule Details
- Day Shift: 12-hour shifts
- Orientation: 24-32 hours (with 16 non-billable hours)
- Weekend: Every other weekend required
- Holiday: As needed
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Stroke/Neuro nursing experience (3 years preferred)
- Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Passing EKG test required at submission
- Willingness to float to comparable units as necessary
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to stroke/neuro patients in a fast-paced MS Tele unit
- Accurately assess, monitor, and document neurological status and interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
- Prioritize patient safety and respond effectively to emergent changes
- Educate patients and families regarding ongoing care and discharge planning
