Deliver outstanding patient care with a leading healthcare institution, providing support and clinical expertise on a dedicated medical-surgical unit. This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference in patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Every other holiday (EOH) required
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Clinical experience in a medical-surgical (MS) environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Capability to prioritize and oversee multiple patient cases
- Previous charge nurse experience is preferred, but not requiredcharge training and shadowing will be provided
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical floor
- Accurately administer medications, monitor patient progress, and implement care plans
- Serve as a resource for peers and assist in mentoring less experienced staff
- Step into intermittent charge nurse responsibilities as scheduled, supporting unit operations and workflow
- Document all care provided and communicate patient status to physicians and other care team members
- Uphold safety and compliance with hospital policies and best practices
