This contract opportunity offers a position for a skilled RN with Medical-Surgical (MS) experience in a reputable healthcare setting located in Englewood, CO. The role is based on the 9 South Orthopedics Unit at a major hospital, focusing on providing excellent care to elective orthopedic and orthopedic trauma patients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care managing up to 5 patients independently on a surgical orthopedic unit
- Perform clinical tasks such as dressing changes and aspiration procedures
- Collaborate effectively with team members including charge nurses and nursing peers
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Apply pain management techniques to enhance patient comfort and recovery
- Maintain a positive attitude and support a team-oriented environment focused on quality outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- RN licensure with strong Medical-Surgical nursing background
- Proven ability to independently manage 5 surgical patients at a time
- Previous orthopedic or surgical unit experience preferred
- Experience with pain management highly desirable
- Positive, team-player mindset with excellent communication skills
Shift and Scheduling:
- Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Nursing ratio approximately 1:5, ensuring personalized patient care
