Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license
- Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in med/surg telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
- At least 18 months recent experience in med/surg or telemetry nursing; travel nursing experience accepted
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- One year of recent oncology or chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not mandatory; oncology-trained nurses encouraged to apply (training provided)
- Ability to work at least every other holiday as part of staffing needs
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive med/surg telemetry nursing care on a 12-hour rotating shift (day and night shifts, 7:00 am 7:30 pm / 7:00 pm 7:30 am)
- Support patient care through assessment, monitoring telemetry rhythms, administering treatments including chemotherapy under supervision, and patient education
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical outcomes and enhance patient safety
- Adhere to hospital standards for medication administration, clinical protocols, and documentation requirements
Contract Details:
- 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
- Shift rotations may be required to meet operational needs
