This travel assignment offers exposure to a Level II Trauma Center, strengthening your adaptability and ability to perform under pressure. Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts (no blocked scheduling)
  • 48 guaranteed hours/week (not negotiable to 36)
  • 8-week contract
  • Every other weekend and holiday required (unless otherwise approved)
  • Start date: ASAP

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active KY/Compact RN license
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in specialty (MS/Tele); Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
  • Proven skills reading/interpreting tele strips
  • Prior experience with Care View/EPIC preferred (on-site training provided)
  • Ability to float between Med Surg/Tele and assist as an aide throughout all inpatient areas
  • Hardworking, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
  • COVID vaccination required (declinations require weekly testing)
  • EKG test completion during compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care on MS/Tele and Surgical/Ortho units (1:6 patient ratio; units vary 1545 beds)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced trauma center
  • Provide compassionate and effective care, adapting to varying department needs
  • Support colleagues and maintain high standards of clinical practice
