Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 3x12 hours per week (36 hours guaranteed)
- Weekends and call as required by facility
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with at least 4 years of recent MedSurg experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency using EPIC EMR system (or similar)
- Ability to float as needed across units
- Skilled in coordinating patient care and providing oversight for other caregivers
- Strong commitment to patient rights, confidentiality, and upholding professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Maintain professional accountability for all care provided
- Evaluate care effectiveness across the unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Support patient rights and maintain confidentiality at all times
