- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to document accurately in electronic health records
- Confidence in coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety protocols
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about care plans, post-discharge instructions, and health management
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of patient information and care events
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards throughout all patient interactions
