We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong Medical-Surgical (MS) experience to support a dynamic healthcare environment on a contract basis. Your clinical skills and compassionate approach will be key in delivering quality care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Medical-Surgical unit
- Perform physical assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on conditions, post-discharge care, and medications
- Document all care activities and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with physicians and team members
