This 13-week assignment within a reputable hospitals Medical-Surgical unit lets you work alongside experienced teams, learning different approaches to patient care and leadership styles. Every shift contributes to your professional growth, from handling a diverse patient populationincluding occasional pediatric casesto strengthening your resume with new clinical experiences.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Active IL RN license required
- BLS certification mandatory
- ACLS and PALS preferred, particularly due to the potential for pediatric patients
- Med Surg experience highly desired
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients on a busy Med Surg floor
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient progress
