Schedule/Hours:
- Night Shift: 7PM 7AM
- Full-time, travel contract
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call shifts
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact state
- BLS certification from AHA (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- At least one year of MedSurg nursing experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in ceil blue scrubs
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently provide routine and complex nursing care in a MedSurg unit
- Apply the nursing processassessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluationfor assigned patients
- Address diverse psychological, emotional, and cultural needs
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
- Document patient history, care provided, and medications accurately
- Assess learning needs, educating patients and their families
- Make assignments and delegate tasks to ensure effective clinical management
