Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating weekends
- Block scheduling available
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- At least one year of acute care experience (preferably with stroke patients)
- BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS required
- Excellent physical assessment, documentation, and time management skills
- Strong critical thinking and A.I.D.E.T. communication abilities
- Knowledge of core measures, HAC and HAI prevention
- Chemo experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care for medical-surgical and oncology patients (31-bed unit, 6:1 ratio)
- Utilize Meditech documentation system
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control
- Float to related Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed
- Collaborate using iPhone-based communication and room-based technology
