Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts (7-7)
- Every other weekend
- Holidays required
- Self-scheduling within guidelines
Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Strong Med-Surg background and advanced telemetry rhythm interpretation
- Proven assessment and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude, adaptability, dependability
- Effective communication and a passion for delivering excellent patient care
- Experience with Meditech documentation a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit
- Hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, utilizing My Care Boards and AIDET
- Remove PICC lines and vas cath/temp cath as needed
- Observe and act on changes in patient conditions
- Float to other units as needed
