Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to similar units as needed
- Holiday shifts as required
As a registered nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry, you'll collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, further honing assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills, particularly with neurological and stroke patient populations.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years stroke/neuro nursing experience
- Preferred: 3 years of related experience
- Active RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Passing EKG Test (all credentials must be verified at submission)
- Flexibility to float to like units as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a med/surg telemetry floor
- Coordinate and implement patient-centered care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and assess neurological status with attention to stroke protocols
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergent situations
