As a travel nurse focusing on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care, youll expand your expertise in stroke and neuro care, gaining insights into advanced protocols and collaborative leadership models. This assignment in Des Plaines will enhance your clinical skills and strengthen your resume, positioning you for future advancement by building agility and resilience through exposure to varied workplace approaches.
Schedule:
- 12-hour Day Shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Stroke/Neuro experience required (3 years preferred)
- Active RN license
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Passing EKG testcertifications and results must be provided before submission
- Flexibility to float to similar units as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care to medical-surgical/telemetry populations with a focus on neuro and stroke patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered plans of care
- Adapt seamlessly to floating assignments in related units
- Participate in a thorough orientation program (24-32 hours) for a smooth transition
