Schedule and Shift Details:

  • 12-hour Day Shifts
  • Weekend work required: every other weekend
  • Holiday shifts as needed

This role suits an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry RN who is ready to dive into stroke and neuro care, float to similar units as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. With orientation structured for quick integration, youll be equipped to make an immediate impact.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Stroke/Neuro nursing experience (3 years preferred)
  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be provided upon submission)
  • Successful completion and documentation of EKG test
  • Able to float to similar units as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to med-surg/telemetry patients, specializing in neuro and stroke populations
  • Interpret and respond to EKG and telemetry findings efficiently
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to evolving patient needs
  • Exhibit flexibility by floating to like units per staffing requirements
  • Maintain thorough and timely charting and documentation
