Schedule & Hours
- Day Shift: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend commitment: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required to similar units as needed
- Holiday shifts: As required
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent stroke/neuro experience
- 3+ years strongly preferred
- RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
- Passing EKG test (documentation required at submission)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients on the Med-Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor for neurological changes and promptly communicate concerns
- Administer medications, infusions, and therapies appropriately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in patient/family education
- Float to similar units as needed to support patient care delivery
