As a travel RN specializing in Stroke/Neuro care, working in this fast-paced, collaborative environment will allow you to engage with diverse workplace practices and unique leadership perspectives. Schedule/Hours

  • Day Shift: 12 hours
  • Every other weekend required
  • Up to 32 hours of orientation

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • 2 years of recent Stroke/Neuro experience required; 3+ years preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, plus passing EKG test (must be current at submission)
  • Ability and willingness to float to similar units as needed
  • Responsive to holiday and weekend scheduling

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to Stroke/Neuro patients on a busy med-surg/telemetry floor
  • Efficiently assess, monitor, and document patient status
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing proactive patient advocacy
  • Adapt swiftly to unit needsincluding floating as the first to support like-units
  • Educate and support patients and families through recovery
