Providing specialized nursing care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, this travel opportunity requires Registered Nurses with a strong foundation in cardiac monitoring. Candidates must hold an active Illinois RN license and current ACLS certification, along with NIHSS and BLS. A demonstrated ability to manage orthopedic and surgical patients is essential, and successful submission requires passing an EKG competency test with a score of 80% or higher.

The position is full-time, scheduled for 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week. Nurses will work every other weekend with rotating holiday coverage. There is no on-call requirement, and flexibility to float to nearby locations including Highland Park, Evanston, or Skokie adds to the dynamic work environment. The start date is within two weeks of job offer acceptance.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and care for patients on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit

Location: Des Plaines, IL, lies conveniently near the northern suburbs of Chicago, offering easy access to urban amenities alongside suburban comforts. This position covers the Glenview area with occasional travel to nearby communities such as Highland Park, Evanston, and Skokie, providing a variety of clinical settings during the assignment.

Contract Details:
