A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in GI Lab and Endoscopy procedures. This contract position is based in Des Plaines, Illinois, offering a structured schedule with 40 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with colonoscopies and endoscopies, with additional skills in EUS and ERCP considered a strong plus.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in GI Lab/Endoscopy, including colonoscopies and endoscopies
• Ability to pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher upon submission
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system
• Experience with EUS and ERCP procedures is advantageous but not required

Responsibilities:

• Perform 30-60 endoscopic cases daily, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Operate within a GI Lab focused on endoscopy services
• Float to nearby locations such as Evanston, Highland Park, Skokie, and Glenbrook as needed
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts
• Start times at 7 a.m. or 8 a.m.
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
