Job Description
Embark on an impactful nursing career by providing essential care in a Medical-Surgical unit. Registered Nurses experienced in Med-Surg settings are needed to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care and support positive outcomes during each hospital stay.
Key responsibilities for this contract role include monitoring patient health, administering prescribed medications, performing assessments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating patients and families about ongoing care needs. Youll play an active role in developing and implementing care plans while ensuring compliance with all clinical protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing environment
- Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to thrive in high-paced, fast-evolving hospital settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed
- Provide support, comfort, and detailed education to patients and their families
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and allied health professionals
- Uphold patient safety and hospital quality standards at all times
