Within this engaging role, youll be part of a dynamic medical-surgical rehabilitation team, working alongside seasoned healthcare professionals. This environment promises the ability to expand your skill set through hands-on experience with patient-centered technology, such as iSTAT, glucometers, and wound vacs, as well as the Meditech EMR system. You'll deepen your expertise working with both telemetry and post-acute care, bolstering your resume with accomplishments that position you for future leadership opportunities.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00AM 7:00PM
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
- BLS certification required
- Preferred: CRRN certification, experience with Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute setting, ACLS, ability to pass Airstrip telemetry competency
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team on rehabilitation care plans
- Complete head-to-toe assessments
- Administer IV medications, antibiotics, and blood transfusions as needed
- Perform lab draws, wound care, and patient/family education
- Advocate for your patients and ensure compassionate, high-quality care
