As a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry RN, you'll be immersed in a supportive, team-driven environment, encountering a diverse patient populationfrom stroke and COPD to GI bleeds and cardiac care. Collaborating with a variety of healthcare professionals, you'll hone your skills with advanced technology, utilizing Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing, all while adapting to different workplace practices and leadership styles. With opportunities to float within the region, your adaptability and expertise will grow, expanding your resume and professional network.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00am7:00pm or 7:00pm7:00am
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- No on-call required
- Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays expected
- Flexible cycle: every 6 weeks
- Up to 6 days off per contract, with schedule adjustments as needed
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Tele experience (first-time travelers may be considered)
- Proficiency in stroke assessments/NIH, chest tube care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV and tube management, cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, and PCA pumps
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to patients with complex medical and telemetry needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interventions (including stroke, cardiac, and respiratory care)
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary support staff and leadership
- Float within region per facility needs and within scope of practice

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
