Job Description

This rewarding nursing opportunity is based in Crivitz, WI, offering a contract position on a medical-surgical unit within a Level III Trauma Center. The role is ideal for an RN with at least two years of experience who is competent in telemetry and ready to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive, well-equipped environment.

Responsibilities include managing a patient load with acuity-based ratios ranging from 1:4-5 during the day to 1:5-6 at night, delivering skilled care on a medical-surgical unit. As part of the care team, you will collaborate closely with charge nurses, LPNs, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and phlebotomists, with centralized telemetry monitoring to support patient safety and efficient workflow. You will use EPIC for charting and Alaris and Pyxis for medication management.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid RN license
  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting
  • Telemetry competency
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
  • Ability to work day and night shifts with patient-focused professionalism
  • Comfortable charting in EPIC and using medical equipment such as Alaris pumps
