Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing (RN-MS)
- Current BLS certification required
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems preferred
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations on the Med-Surg unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and medical histories
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and families to deliver coordinated care
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families regarding health status, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility standards
- Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols at all times
