As part of an advanced medical-surgical/telemetry team, you will gain experience treating high-acuity patientsspinal surgeries, neuro cases, cardiac rhythms, and complex post-op recoveriesin a large hospital recognized for leadership in trauma care, stroke response, and cardiovascular interventions. The organization places great value on real-time feedback, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration, offering you the potential to learn from respected leaders and grow your skill set in state-of-the-art settings.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • No on-call requirements
  • Holiday participation: 75%
  • Flexible scheduling with 6 days of approved RTO (excluding holidays)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years MedSurg/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
  • Strong skills in Med/Tele nursing: cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, post-op neuro/spine care, trach care, chest tube management, pain management, medication drips, and patient/family education
  • Ability to float regionally within scope of practice

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care for complex medical and neuro patients
  • Manage cardiac, spinal, and neuro post-op recoveries
  • Educate patients and families on care plans
  • Serve as a team player focused on safety and high-quality outcomes
  • Read and interpret telemetry without tech support
