In this travel nursing role within multiple med-surg and med-tele units, you'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams and resource nurses, manage diverse patient populations, and immerse yourself in an environment dedicated to innovation and learning. The facility's robust support structure includes access to advanced technologies and round-the-clock specialized staff, allowing you to sharpen clinical skills and discover new approaches to patient care and leadership.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
  • Weekend rotation: Every other
  • No call required
  • Must be available for 75% of holidays; up to 6 days RTO allowed (holidays excluded)

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • At least 2 years Med/Tele RN experience; first-time travelers considered
  • Proficiency in stroke management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube and drain management, NGT placement, and management of PCA pumps and medication drips
  • Experience with Epic, Alaris pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based care to adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and trauma
  • Manage patient ratios as assigned per unit acuity
  • Floating to related units and partner facilities as needed within defined regions
  • Participate in a supportive, team-focused culture, collaborating with CNAs, secretaries, and specialized staff
