Key Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical unit strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Current BLS certification (additional certifications a plus)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in the medical-surgical unit
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Document patient status, care, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Support a culture of safety, quality, and compassionate care
