As a Registered Nurse specializing in med-surg, you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based care and have the opportunity to practice and develop leadership skills through intermittent charge nurse duties, with full support and training provided.

Schedule:

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license.
• At least one year of recent acute care medical-surgical experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, changing clinical situations.
• Ability and willingness to take intermittent charge nurse responsibilities (charge training/shadowing available).
• Comfortable working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient-centered care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Accurately administer medications, treatments, and follow care plans.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress; promptly respond to changes in condition.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Serve as a resource for clinical staff and occasionally act as charge nurse as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to a safe, positive, and supportive environment through teamwork and professionalism.
