Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday shifts as needed
Gain invaluable experience and expand your clinical skills on a progressive MS/Telemetry unit with a focus on stroke/neuro care. Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Stroke/Neuro nursing experience required; 3 years preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (all must be current and presented at submission)
- Must have passed EKG test
- Strong ability to adapt to new environments and processes
- Willingness to float first to like units as needed
Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients on MS/Telemetry (Stroke/Neuro) units
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes
- Respond effectively to rapidly evolving patient conditions
- Demonstrate proficiency with telemetry equipment and neuro assessments
- Flexibly float to similar units to support hospital needs
