Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) nursing. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse patient population.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year of recent medical-surgical (MS) nursing experience
- Comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practices in an acute care setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible scheduling options based on facility needs
- Night, day, and weekend shifts may be available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care in accordance with nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for a range of medical-surgical patients
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members
- Administer medications and perform treatments with accuracy and precision
- Collaborate with physicians and other nursing staff to ensure high quality, coordinated care
- Maintain documentation in line with facility policies and state regulations
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, diagnoses, and post-discharge instructions
