Schedule/Hours
- Day Shift: 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend rotation
- Will float to similar units as needed
- Holiday coverage as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent Stroke/Neuro nursing experience (required)
- Preferred: 3 or more years of hands-on clinical practice
- Active state RN license
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be current and presented upon submission)
- Passing EKG test required
- Experience working in fast-paced settings and floating to like units
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a med-surg/telemetry setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions with consideration for neuro and stroke patients
- Collaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams
- Flexibly float to other units as patient census or acuity requires
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Uphold high standards of patient safety and satisfaction
