Schedule/Hours
- Day shift: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- Holiday coverage: As needed
Joining this esteemed medical-surgical telemetry unit means you'll build upon your nursing expertise, especially caring for stroke and neuro patients. The role offers frequent collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and leadership, fostering robust professional growth. Floating to like units as needed allows you to broaden your skillset while adapting to various clinical settings.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
- Passing EKG test (certifications required at submission)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in stroke/neuro care (3 years preferred)
- Flexibility to float to similar units as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional, evidence-based care to a varied acute patient population
- Accurately monitoring, assessing, and documenting patient conditions
- Collaborating across interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Adapting to changing clinical environments and patient needs
- Providing patient and family education with compassion and clarity
