A healthcare professional with a strong background in GI Lab and Endoscopy procedures is sought for a contract position in Chicago, IL. This role requires performing a high volume of cases daily, focusing on colonoscopies and endoscopies, with opportunities to expand skills in EUS and ERCP procedures. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in nursing care within gastrointestinal settings and comply with certification and licensure requirements.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in GI Lab, Endoscopy, colonoscopies, and endoscopies.
• Ability to perform EUS and ERCP procedures is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current ACLS and CPR certification.
• Successful completion of an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system preferred.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Manage 30-60 GI Lab and Endoscopy cases per day with a focus on quality patient care.
• Support endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Comply with all hospital and regulatory standards, maintaining patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Utilize Epic software to document patient information accurately.
• Flexibility to float between multiple locations in the surrounding area if needed.

Schedule / Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
• No weekend or holiday shifts required.
