Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shifts available, including potential day, evening, or night shifts
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Comprehensive understanding of nursing standards and patient safety guidelines
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- BLS certification required; additional certifications (such as ACLS) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
- Develop individualized care plans and update them as patient circumstances evolve
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and coordinate interventions
- Work collaboratively with physicians, patient care technicians, and allied health staff
- Document thoroughly and accurately within electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on treatments, aftercare, and recovery
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate measures
- Uphold infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols at all times
