Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Recent experience in a medical-surgical (MS) nursing setting
- Strong assessment, organizational, and clinical skills
- Ability to adapt rapidly to changing patient conditions and priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient needs
- CPR/BLS certification required; additional certifications (such as ACLS) a plus
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible scheduling based on unit needs
- Weekend and evening shifts may be available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population within the MS unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and ongoing needs
- Ensure compliance with all facility protocols, policies, and safety standards
