This Med/Surg Telemetry RN opportunity provides exposure to a range of inpatient units and patient populations, from chest pain workups to stroke and respiratory care. By collaborating across teams and floating within a robust regional system, youll gain first-hand experience with varying workplace cultures and leadership styles, all while broadening your clinical expertise. Schedule/Hours

  • Rotating weekends: every other weekend
  • No on-call requirement
  • Required to work 75% of holidays
  • Six-week scheduling cycles
  • Up to 6 days of approved time off (excluding holidays), with flexible extensions for contract fulfillment

Desired Qualifications

  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • 18+ months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (resource team)
  • Strong skills in stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and tube management, PIV/IV starts, chest tube experience
  • Medication drip management including cardiac drips, heparin, blood products
  • Flexibility to float across multiple regional facilities as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to Med/Surg and telemetry populations
  • Prioritize and manage complex diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, stroke, and chest pain
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists
  • Utilize advanced medical technology for monitoring, charting, and medication administration
  • Adapt to diverse environments and patient needs, including floating as required
