Job Description
A registered nurse with medical-surgical and telemetry experience is needed for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing high-quality patient care for a 32-bed unit with a consistent census handling common diagnoses such as stroke, seizure, acute kidney injury, and non-healing wounds. The unit is supported by a comprehensive team and equipped with advanced technology, including EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with 18 months minimum experience in MedSurg/Telemetry
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
- Skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and managing non-titrating cardiac drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone
- Ability to work collaboratively with CNAs and other support staff
- Willingness to float within the region and adhere to floating requirements
