Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM7:00 AM
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week (option to request 48 hours)
- Rotating weekends: three out of every six weeks
- Every other holiday coverage required
This travel nursing opportunity at a renowned teaching hospital specializes in Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma care within a robust, supportive team environment. Qualifications:
- Compact RN license (active)
- AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year Ortho/Neuro/Trauma
- One prior travel assignment
- Experience in a trauma level II setting
- Proficient with EPIC EMR system
Preferred Skills:
- Chest tube/indwelling drain, drip, and wound management
- Strong neuro assessment, PIV insertion, Tele/12-lead EKG
- Resilient, adaptable, and strong communicator
- Prior stepdown experience required
Responsibilities:
- Deploy advanced clinical skills in a busy 44-bed unit
- Collaborate with seasoned staff and precept students/new hires
- Float within skillset across campuses as needed
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to diverse Ortho/Neuro/Trauma population
