Schedule:
- 7PM 7AM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call only if flexed off
- Full-time, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional medical-surgical nursing care using the full nursing process, from assessment to evaluation
- Manage routine and complex care while supporting long-term recovery goals
- Address diverse psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments, closely monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
- Thoroughly document patient histories, symptoms, and care plans
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying needs and connecting them to resources
- Delegate tasks appropriately to optimize clinical outcomes
Qualifications:
- RN License in Louisiana or compact state
- Current BLS certification
- BSN preferred
- 1 year of RN-MS experience preferred
