Schedule & Hours:
- 7PM 7AM
- Full Time
- Every other weekend required
- Blocked scheduling not available
- On-call shifts only when flexed off
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact state license
- BLS certification required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least 1 year in a medical-surgical nursing setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care utilizing the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring outcomes
- Document patient histories, symptoms, care, and progress
- Educate patients and families about health concerns, medications, and care plans
- Make appropriate, effective assignments to support staff as needed
