A nursing opportunity is available in Cambridge, MA, offering valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) expertise, focusing on inpatient care across telemetry and med-surgical units.

Location Overview:

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts
  • Orientation available on January 14 and January 28

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care across telemetry and med-surgical units within a 67-bed hospital setting
  • Flexibly support all three inpatient units as part of the float pool
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and utilize EMR systems, preferably Meditech Expanse 6

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (permanent license required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent travel nursing experience in Medical-Surgical specialty
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS mandatory
  • Two recent references from charge nurses or managers in the specialty area
  • Experience with Meditech Expanse 6 preferred but not required

Additional Requirements:

  • Must submit recent resume, references, current certifications, skills checklist, and return-to-office (RTO) availability with application
  • Open to local nurses within 50 miles at the local rate
  • Willingness to provide holiday coverage
