In this medical-surgical nursing role, you'll work in a modern, 21-bed facility serving a diverse patient population. You'll gain hands-on exposure to both medical-surgical and tele areas, manage a range of conditions, and benefit from innovative staffing patterns and interdisciplinary collaboration. Schedule:
- Rotating weekends
- Set scheduling patterns with opportunities to pick up open shifts
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- 1+ year of recent MS experience (telemetry preferred)
- Proficiency with Pyxis (medication system) and Cerner (electronic documentation)
- Calm, effective communicator able to adapt in a team-based setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to MS, Swing, and Tele patients
- Support call coverage as needed, including voluntary and up to four shift call-offs
- Provide bedside shift reports with the AIDET framework
- Occasionally assist in the ED for admission holds
- Collaborate with remote and on-site clinical staff, leveraging tools like iPause
